Bye Bye Brett

I have sworn myself to secrecy *shhhh AMY* as to why I have an interest in the Green Bay Packers, but nonetheless about an hour ago an article popped up on my MSN homepage saying that Brett the hottie Favre has decided to retire - again...

Although I think it is wonderful to be able to go out of the game after having one of your best seasons ever, it is sad to think that he will *possibly* never throw another pass on Sunday's to come.

"The Packers owe him a tremendous debt of gratitude. He has given Packers fans 16 years of wonderful memories, a Super Bowl championship among them, that will live on forever. ... The uniqueness of Brett Favre — his personality, charisma and love of the game — undoubtedly will leave him as one of the enduring figures in NFL history."
This picture on the Fox website is awesome (click)...

It makes me even sadder to think that I rooted against the Pack during their last game this season when they lost to the Giants in overtime (if the Giants could beat the Patriots, which they did !YAY!, the Pack DEF could have too); however, I seem to feel pretty positive that any outcome of the 2007 NFL season was not driven by what Amy wanted :)

All I can say is that I HOPE he continues to endorse Wranglers or WHATEVER so we can see and appreciate how he gets better looking with time!

I agree, I was shocked when I saw the headlines on Yahoo.com. I had to text my husband to let him know. No more eye candy for the Packers. But I agree, I hope he continues to sponsor some type of product so we can continue to be mesmerized.

You are too funny! Maybe he could get the 7 figure Calvin Klein signing bonus instead of Tom Brady? I thinks its a better trade!
