An Oz Fun Fact ~ How it all began

When L. Frank Baum wrote The Wonderful Wizard of Oz back in 1899, he probably had no idea it would've become as popular as it did. And, how did he come up with the name Oz in the first place? Most folks believe that as Baum was telling his story to children on of them asked what the name of his fantasyland was called. Baum hesitated for a moment and then as he looked across the room his eyes landed on a filing cabinet whose two drawers were labeled A-N and O-Z...the rest is history!
